Before the main building of Milwaukie High was demolished, my dad Tom (class of ’65) & I went to take a last look. He took a bunch of great photos of the architecture and I used one to create an illustration… thank you, Dad!

It’s currently hanging in Milwaukie City Hall, part of a City staff and artMOB art show that runs through mid-January.

For the record, I am excited about the new building! It’ll be safer, more energy-efficient, etc. It’s just…. weird that this beauty is gone now.
